The Restoration House was created from a lifelong interest in understanding how the mind, body, and nervous system influence overall well-being. For over 30 years, Ellen has studied the intersection of psychology, emotional health, and integrative wellness, with a deep focus on how stress, thought patterns, and lived experience are held within the body. Her path has included formal training in holistic health, mind-body psychology, clinical hypnotherapy, and complementary wellness modalities including auriculotherapy, polarity therapy, and Bach flower essence therapy. She is also a certified yoga teacher, trained through The Expanding Light in Nevada City, California. In addition to her formal education, Ellen has dedicated decades to independent study in psychology, emotional intelligence, and mind-body approaches to health, continually expanding her understanding of how people move through stress, transition, and emotional overload. Earlier in her career, she worked one-on-one with clients in deeply supportive sessions focused on emotional expression, relaxation, and internal balance. Over time, this evolved into a more structured and integrative approach centered on nervous system regulation and restorative wellness practices. The Restoration House was born from this evolution—a space designed to support individuals who are seeking calm, clarity, and reconnection within themselves in an increasingly overstimulated world. Today, Ellen’s work is centered on creating private, restorative sessions that help clients slow down, regulate the nervous system, and return to a more grounded and embodied sense of self.

Ellen holds an Associate Degree in Holistic Health, with formal training in Mind-Body Connection and Integrative Energetic Wellness modalities including Clinical Hypnotherapy, Polarity therapy, Auriculotherapy, and Bach flower Remedies.
